Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
We provide three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the most stable and reliable OSs available and we offer all three of them instead of just 1 since we realize that you might want to set up some software which has specific requirements with regards to the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there are different software applications you may install on the server. Your OS selection will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you wish to use one and that's why we offer several Control Panels too. If you ever decide that you want a different OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the present one and install the one that you would like. In addition, we offer an optional service to have the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're totally free so they won't increase the cost of your new hosting server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each of them is supported by a huge community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you could install on your server if the application that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and since we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request if it turns out that you need another one. We will also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
